Lung adenocarcinoma patient has body temperature ranging from 35.4 to 37.5. He is taking filgrastim and innohep.Does it mean that he is having fever once he reached 37 degrees?

A temperature measured orally and ranging between 35.4 degrees Celsius and 37.7 degrees Celsius is perfectly normal; the point at which we start suspecting an impending rise in temperature and for which we do close monitoring is when the oral temperature hits 37.8 degrees Celsius, but it's not until it is 38 degrees that we consider it a fever. You also need to be aware of the following: if the patient is on a chemotherapy regimen that includes steroids, which can suppress the fever or mask it, we tend to be more rigorous in terms of reporting the slightest abnormal symptoms, so let's say the patient develops a bit of a runny nose or a mild cough, we do not wait for a fever to occur to examine the patient but recommend that he be seen as soon as possible in order to determine if there's any ongoing infectious process, even in the absence of fully blown fever.
