Last night, suddenly my right knee was "beating" all evening but there was no pain. I'd injured it a few years back & barely treated it. No fracture but the ligament stretched. Should I see a doctor?

The beating or pulsation usually comes from the artery supplying that area; it is nothing serious, usually a transient event and without consequences, and unlikely to be related to an old minor injury. In case in happens again, have your knee examined by a physician to rule out a blood vessel malformation (sometimes the blood vessels have an abnormal anatomy and produce such symptoms, although this is quite rare especially in the knee).
