it burns when I urinate and I need to go to the bathroom more with less urine coming out. It has a bad odor and a dark color. What's causing this?

These are classical symptoms of urinary tract infection. A urine analysis and a urine culture have to be done and antibiotics have to be given immediately after giving the urine culture. The result of the culture will confirm that the antibiotic is adequate for the type of bacteria causing the infection.
