The term laser is often used in a very indiscriminate way when describing noninvasive procedures. The more appropriate term to use is endovascular procedures, which means procedures that are done to unblock a vessels from within without the need for surgery. Endovascular procedures are available at specialized medical centers such as AUBMC and are usually performed by experts vascular surgeons.
