Laser hair removal is safe in the pubic area. The light emitted from the laser machine goes deep ONLY to the mid layer of your skin (called dermis), which is far away from your internal organs.
However, local side effects such as redness, pain... can occur in any treated area of the body but they are usually mild and they are not dangerous.
