Cortisone can be used for many eye disease as glaucoma ,post op cataract surgery ,post op lasik surgery and for lots of things and after stopping there is no danger but it has been used for a long time like 6 months and more especially if ocular tension has been controlled ,

You should stop them when your eye doctor (ophthalmologist) ask you to.
