Water in any drink is good for your health, with or without lemon, as it boosts your metabolism, enhances your blood circulation and the filtering function of your kidneys, as well as the function of all your body organs in general. The warm water-lemon juice mix in the morning has gotten too much media attention with regards to its healthy and beneficial effects and its claimed ability to aid in weight loss, but all this fuss is not based in scientific evidence. Knowing that the human body contains approximately 60-70% water, it only makes sense to surmise that consuming more water, which would be the substitute of calorie-rich beverages such as coffee with cream and sugar and other synthetic compounds, may indeed be a good choice and possibly improve weight loss efforts.It is not such a bad idea to start your day with drinking hot water and lemon every morning, and it does have health benefits, because, in addition to the benefits if water, pectin from lemon juice, is a fiber-rich compound that produces positive health effects such as protection against heart disease, plus the known effect of fiber of conferring a sense of fullness, so you won't feel hungry.
