I'm giving my baby formula milk at night from 4 am until 10 am and I continue breastfeeding in the day but today my baby threw up a little. How to manage the time between breastfeeding and the bottle?

It's OK if your baby spits up a little bit after a meal upon trying to burp him/her, because all babies have underdeveloped digestive systems and it takes time for it to mature and be able to handle fluids and food properly. As long as the spitting is not in large amounts and not projectile, your baby is passing stools regularly and gaining adequate weight, you do not need to worry. And as I have mentioned in a previous response, during the first month of life, the newborn should be nursing eight to 12 times per day; after a milk bottle, you may wait for three hours before offering your baby breastfeeding, but time intervals between breastfeedings should be shorter (about 2 -2.5 hours) as breast milk is digested more quickly so the baby gets hungry sooner.
