pacifier is ok to use and sometimes may be even helpful the first 6 months of age in reducing reflux and risk of sudden death in babies
we just recommend to start using it after the age of 2 weeks, to avoid confusion between the pacifier and your breast.
and after the age of 6 months, it is recommended to start training your kid to remove it during day time so it won't affect his eating and communication.
