Side effects of Lexotanil are usually temporary and fade with prolonged use. Common side effects include fatigue, drowsiness, suicidal attempt, headache, depression, difficulty concentrating, slow speech...etc
This drug require special precaution if used in elderly and pregnancy.
There is also a risk of abuse and physical dependance if used for long duration and rebound anxiety if stopped abruptly.
