I have something similar to a wart on my thumb but it's not a wart. Whenever i stretch my hand i feel pain. What could it be and how can i treat it?

It could be a reaction to a foreign body or some other skin disease. It could also be a wart. Your description is not enough to know what it is. If it persist then let it be examined because the treatment is based on the cause.
