I have gastrooesophagien reflux since 2009 am taking nexium40.Today i have fatty liver my doc said food problem and nexium,is he right abt nexium?

Nexium (esomeprazol) is not known to induce non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD); regarding nutritional disorder that may cause NAFLD, this is mainly related to bariatric surgery (weight loss surgery), or total parenteral nutrition, whereby a patient received nutrition directly into the bloodstream in critical conditions when he/she cannot receive food into their gut.
