I have a tiny lump in my breast tissue, near my sternum. Is there a way of telling if it is a cyst or something more serious without seeing a doctor and/or getting a mammogram?

It is recommended that once you have detected a lump on self-breast examination to get yourself examined by a physician. Your doctor will then determine whether or not there is a need for a mammogram or breast ultrasound.
