more history is needed to know more about the cough. ie onset, triggering factors, other associated symptoms, any smoking history. but mainly dry cough can be due to reflux, post nasal drip, post viral, variant asthma…
so you need to be seen and examined by a physician to prescribed the appropriate therapy.
