20-30% of women experience some degree of bleeding in early pregnancy. Approximately half of pregnant women who bleed do not have miscarriages. Approximately 15-20% of all pregnancies result in a miscarriage, and the majority occur during the first 12 weeks.
Vaginal bleeding is usually the first sign of miscarriage especially if associated with abdominal cramps and some tissues coming out ,that is a point
so having infection and bleeding raise your risk of miscarriage and losing the baby
however the doctor try to reverse the condition and stable the pregnant women ,treats infection with antibiotics and if your blood is Rh-negative, you may need a shot of Rh immune globulin within two or three days after you first notice bleeding, unless the baby's father is Rh-negative as well.
if the bleeding is heavy ,or pain is severe a pregnant women may need to be hospitalized as i mention before to be monitored frequently and prevent frequent bleeding and check vital signs and baby
