I did an HIV test 3 months post exposure and came back negative should i be relieved? Can i continue my life normally without testing and worrying sick for a false negative test? (Plz answer me clear)

After HIV infection, the body develop what is called antibodies.
Those antibodies can be detected in the blood starting 3 weeks after the infection (= window period).
After 3 months, there is detection of those antibodies in 97% of cases.
So a window period of 6 months is rare.
But if you want to be 100% sure, some suggest repeating the test at 6 months of the exposure.
Finally, it is very important to use condom when having any type of sexual intercourse since this is the only way of preventing sexually transmitted diseases.
