I am on venlax 75 mg twice per day since 2 months, my appetite increased a lot and already gained 4 kg i heard abt topiramate 25ng fr weight loss is there any interaction with my depression pill ?

Before proceeding to adding any medication you must consult with your treating physician as some drugs must never be self-administered, especially with drugs like topiramate which is classified as an anti-epileptic drug (a drug to treat epilepsy) and that has a significant adverse effects profile, most importantly in people with pre-existing psychiatric conditions as it may worsen the depression, mood swings, and somnolence (sleepiness).
That having been said, Venlax (velafaxine) and topiramate do not exhibit drug-drug interaction.
