I am a 28 year old female.I had a cardiac doppler before the c section since I developed gestational hypertension.It showed some water around the heart. what does it mean? my pressure is back normal

I believe you are referring to what is called "pericardial effusion". If so, it is important to know how much fluid was there. I do not believe it was related to your hypertension, although some medicines that are used to treat BP may at times cause pericardial effusion. Most of us have some amount of fluid that lubricates the motion of the heart inside the pericardial sac. If the effusion was significant, then it needs to be followed up with another echocardiogram to make sure it is not getting any larger or starting to compromise the heart function.
