humate is protein plasma of human origin, so normally we don't use it as first line therapy, have you ever tried DDAVP ( desmopressin)?!
as for the epidural , if you are on the tratment and you have normal Platelet count, so no contra-indication, you will discuss this in detail with your anesthesist.
