Hi, i had my period last jan 8 and my OB advise me to take utrogestan progesterone 200mg for 5 days (jan-17-21) to have my menstruation again.stil i dnt hve my period yet and i had sex, can i be prggy

i didn't understand why giving progesterone if you had your LMP on jan 8 , as it will not come before the first of feb. ( if you had regular 28d cycle).
to know if you are pregnant, you sould do a urine pregnancy test not before the 8th of feb.
