HI doctors how to rid the body from water?can i take( LAZIX) is there any side effect to this medication?(i am 61 years old).shoud i make some exams?Thanks

before starting to take medication, you need to know the reason for water retention which might be due to kidney problem, heart problem, liver problem. so befor deciding on taking a diuretics such as lasix i suggest you start with visiting your physician and do some blood tests( creatinine, electrolytes, liver function test, protein level...), urine analysis, and echocardiogram....
