Since you have no nausea no vomiting no diarrhea ,no fever ,normal appetite, you may have these possibilities :
>Indigestion pain :
This happens usually after eating certain types of food. The foods might be fatty or very rich. You may feel like burping a lot or have nasty acid taste coming into your mouth. It usually goes in a few hours.
>Wind
Cramps pains across the abdomen after eating may be wind. Your abdomen may feel swollen or bloated. If you are able to go to the toilet and open your bowels, or pass wind (fart) the pain usually goes.
Constipation is common. It means either going to the toilet less often than usual to empty the bowels, or passing hard or painful stools (poo). Sometimes cramps pains occur in the lower abdomen. You may also feel bloated and sick if you have severe constipation.
>Irritable bowel syndrome
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common gut disorder. The cause is not known. Symptoms can be quite variable and include abdominal pain, bloating, and sometimes bouts of diarrhea and/or constipation. Symptoms tend to come and go. There is no cure for IBS, but symptoms can often be eased with treatment.
>Gallstones
Symptoms include severe pain in the upper right side of the abdomen. The pain eases and goes if the gallstone is pushed out into the bile duct (and then usually out into the gut), or if it falls back into the gallbladder.
so if the pain is severe and and get more severe after a fatty meal and if the pain develops or associated with a shoulder pain you may be having gall stones or acute cholecystitis .in this case you need to contact your doctor for examination ,tests and images and proper diagnose and treatment .
>Food poisoning causing gastroenteritis ,this can present by a crampy pain in the first few hours and then develop in diarrhea i mentioned it because you say the pain is from yesterday you may develop diarrhea in the coming hours if that happened then it is gastroenteritis and you must take fluids to protect from dehydration .
>Stomach and duodenal ulcers
treatment will be depending on the cause and symptoms ,try to reduce fatty meals ,reduce over eating ,take fluids ,eat small meals ,over the counter you can take spasfon for the colic pain or disflatyl if the cause is bloating
So therefore it may be as simple as a wind cause and if more severe pain you need to go for examinations and tests .
