yes that is normal ,usually after stopping the contraceptive pills you may have some changes ,since your body is adapting to the new condition
usually the first six months after using the pill again you might have some changes ,some women
change in periods may include period irregularities ,delay ,early coming ,more days ,less days
beside that fact ,your period is still in the normal range period 7 days period is still in the normal range ,it is the normal going of period to have 3 days bleeding and then lighter and at the end you will have brown residue
brown residue may be seen at the beginning and the end
if you feel something wrong or bleeding between periods or anything unusual you can check with your doctor .
As far now ,this is normal ,wait for the first 6 months and this may change.

Yes this bleeding pattern is perfectly normal.
During your menstrual cycle, the lining of your uterus thickens to get ready for pregnancy. Then, during your period, your body sheds the uterus lining along with blood. The amount of blood and fluid lost is usually between 4 and 12 teaspoons each cycle.
The cycle starts light, then reaches the peak flow in days 2&3, where the largest amount of blood is shed. You may even get blood clots during these couple of days because usually your body would secrete factors that thin your blood (anticoagulant) to keep the flow out; with peak blood fflow your system may get a bit overwhelmed so not all the blood is thinned and some comes out as clots.
By the end of the cycle, brownish blood is seen - this is old blood that did not come out in time and lingered a bit longer in your uterus.
