Got a baby 4 month ago,when i stopped breathfeeding i got my period and its been 40 days since my last period,did 2 HPT both negative,am i pregnant

If 2 HPTs are both negative then most probably the answer is no, you are not pregnant. The menstrual cycle delay is most likely due to hormonal alterations, not uncommon in the few months after delivery, and/or stress, especially that you are breast feeding, your baby still wakes you up at night and your body is exhausted .
