Swelling and stiffness of finger joints are due to many causes, These range from arthritis whether inflammatory or degenerative, trauma, mechanical, raynaud's phenomena, metabolic diseases... Symptomatic treatment is to keep hands warm and perform regular hand and finger range of motion exercises.
