Dr. Zakia, thank u for ur answer yesterday regarding the toxoplasmosis test, i tried to reply but couldnt. It is actually the IgG that gave around 339 Ul ml. Can i still try to get pregnant soon?

This 339 IU/ml IgG level is elevated &could indicate either a previous exposure or a recently acquired (&thus active) infection; in order to determine which case it is, you need to do a Toxoplasma IgM level (the indicator of active infection). If the IgM turns out to be elevated you need to consult your obstetrician on attempting to conceive -you may have to wait for sometime before doing so IF you have active infection. Treatment is usually required in case you are pregnant.
