Dr rania why do i get very fast heart beats /palputations while masturbating ? Is it right ? Shld i stop it ?

That is quite normal ,during masturbation as well as intercourse is like any other physical activity ,the muscles are contracted and tightens before they are relaxed after finishing ,and thus ,when muscles are involved in the process to contract and tightens this will lead to increase in the need of blood to organs and thus rapid heart beats are felt .
other cause is that when the process is going usually there is a catch of breath means then you need more oxygen and thus more heart beats to fullfil the needs and then the heart pumps rapidly
other cause is the release of stress hormones (the same hormones released during being afraid or stressed or shocked - the adrenaline .and these hormones increase heart beats and make a rapid breath with release of energy .
beside the process of masturbation or intercourse leading to orgasm ,is in itself in need to increase in the blood flow to achieve an orgasm and thus to fulfill a body need for more blood the heart pumps more and the heart beat are fast.
Masturbation is a normal process in moderation .
