A white blood cell count of 13.87 is not dangerous but it is not normal (elevated). As I have already explained in my previous response, and in the context of a slightly elevated CRP, this may mean a viral illness. Please refer to your treating physician for a more accurate within clinical context interpretation of these lab tests.
