Dr. Karim: if I'm currently having chronic muscles pain, can I skip the flu shot? I don't usually take it & pay attention to washing & sanitizing hands, asking becz of the guillain-barre u mentioned

there is no need to skip the flu shot unless there is a severe infection, active neurological disease, history of severe allergic reaction to egg, history of allergic reaction to a previous flu vaccine…
as for your muscle pain it is not related to guillain barre syndrome which usually causes progressive weakness
