Does wearing contact lenses daily for more than 8hrs cause eye problems? And at what age can the laser be done?

There is no problem of wearing contact lenses more than 8 hours if you have no eye symptoms or problems checked by an ophthalmologist. However it is important to avoid contact lens overwear , ie 16 hrs a day 7 days per week. You can have later vision correction if you are above 18 and have at least 2 years of stability
