Do you mean that the usage of this medicine must be in parallel of taking vitamins to get better results?

NO the doctor meant that depending on the cause of hair loss the treatment will be ,meaning that if the cause of hair loss is loss of vitamins then vitamins are the treatment and hair will regrow again and if the loss of hair is hereditary with no organic cause then alopexy 5% will be beneficial in this case and you should continue on it (when stop hair loss comes again)
therefore if there is any organic cause or any deficiency causing your hair loss such as vitamin deficiency or iron deficiency ,...treating the cause will treat the hair loss and hair will regrow and if genetic then alopexy will syop losing more hair but the dead hair before will not regrow again and you must keep on it
