Can u tell me about acupuncture and if it's efficient? and for which cases is it used? and how much does it cost approximately? thanks in advance

efficacy of acupuncture in adult post-operative and chemotherapy nausea and vomiting and in post-operative dental pain. There are other situations such as addiction, stroke rehabilitation, headache, menstrual cramps, tennis elbow, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain, osteoarthritis, low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and asthma where acupuncture may be useful as an adjunct treatment or an acceptable alternative or be included in a comprehensive management program.
Some of the mechanism of acupuncture medically is that it :
-promotes blood flow.
-stimulates the body’s built-in healing mechanisms
-releases natural painkillers. Inserting a needle sends a signal through the nervous system to the brain, where chemicals such as endorphins, norepinephrine and enkephalin are released.
- reduces both the intensity and perception of chronic pain
-relaxes shortened muscles
- reduces stress.
