Can teeth paste cause cancer?

The concern is regarding an ingredient called Triclosan which is found in some toothpastes and in many other household products. It was investigated because it was thought to increase bacterial resistance and to alter hormone balance in animal studies. Last FDA reports state that Triclosan, found in some toothpastes, is not known to be hazardous to humans.
